So what are Vapor Chamber and 3DVC technologies? To put it simply, we've tossed out the traditional copper base that transfers heat away from the CPU and replaced it with a coolant filled VC. When these VCs are heated, the coolant transforms from liquid to gas and back again to protect your CPU from overheating. How? A total of eight heatpipes (four seamlessly merged with the base) conduct heat away from the the horizontal base, while an ultra-large heatsink helps further put a stop to the hot. Two of our highest quality Silencio FP fans then propel heat away from the unit. The MasterAir Maker 8 comes with the highest quality Silencio FP fans. These fans include Cooler Master's exclusive Silent Driver IC technology. Make no mistake - the MasterAir Maker 8 is a high performance air cooler, yet the two Silencio FP fans combined output registers at a surprisingly low 8-24 dBa, making it one of the quietest choices when it comes to high-pressure cooling. The self-lubricating and dustproof design also keeps the blades operating smoothly, ensuring a new system will likely be long obsolete by the time these fans expire.

Intuitive Bracket Design

The MasterAir Maker 8 also supports both 140mm and 120mm fans. Fans can quickly and easily be adjusted, removed and replaced thanks to a special fan bracket design. Simply hold the release tab and slide the fan up. This design also allows you to switch out fans to match your gaming rig's color, as well as adjust the fan position for memory or graphics card clearance. Nice.
